Oklahoma Association of Public Procurement

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this Chapter are:

  • to provide progressive opportunities for the development of efficient procurement methods and practices;
  • to encourage ethical standards in buying and selling;
  • to promote uniform public procurement laws, standards and specifications;
  • to provide networking opportunities within the professions;
  • to promote ongoing training and certification of those active in the profession;
  • to strive to advance the procurement profession;
  • and to observe the Purposes, Aims and Objectives of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, Inc.
Any person who subscribes to the objectives of this organization and is willing to actively support it shall be eligible for membership in the Chapter. Membership categories shall be: Individual, Agency, Honorary, and Retired. Click here for details on becoming a member.
